Post 2001 Turbo Bumper

I wish this was around when I purchased my Turbo Bumper!

Anyway, I hope that one of you is still looking for one, you can get a great deal on ebay.

Does the Turbo bumper fit 100% on the 02? I just bid on one of the 2 on EBAY. It is silver, just the same as my Targa.

Will there be much of an install on this or is it a perfect fit?

Thanks.

I never saw the Turbo nose that was put on my 02 Cab because the folks who put it on also removed it from the other car. Long story. I do know that the "eyebrows" for the Turbo need to be used in the conversion, as well as a decision on whether to modify the front bumper bar or getting the Turbo front bumper bar.

Ditto to Don's post, double check the bumper if you want the front bumper with bumperettes or without them. Without the bumperettes, the front looks cleaner but it will be easier for the moron parking in front to hit you.
The ebay link that targaman has on his post, is the front bumper with the bumperettes, but it is also missing the center inlet grill $150. and the 2 headlight turbo "eyebrows" $125. each.

Didn't Porsche have to install those stupid bumperetts on the front for DOT standards? Does anyone know how they were able to remove them for 2002? Did they significantly improve the bumper or were they just overkill and Porsche finally convinced the DOT of that?

smjjpres:
The "eyebrow" is a small (11" long X 1/2" wide) black plastic piece that sits between the 2002 headlights and the turbo bumper. The 2002 C2 coupe and cab has a similar "eyebrow" but it is not the same as the 996 TT because the bumpers are different. Just be ready to put out an additional $125.00 a piece for the 996 TT "eyebrows"
