Just had a PPI completed on an early build (3/98) 996 and the shop mentioned that the alarm/locking function was disfunctional. I've researched this board quite a bit and didnt recognize this as a problem normally? associated with the early builds. Anyways, just wondering if anyone has been thru the same problem and had any advice as to cost to repair, etc. Thanks in advance.
