I have a Graphite Grey interior that is not the full leather. What parts are leather? Just the material on the seats that has the small holes?

Kerry: Still no answer? I guess you must be the only 996 owner with partial leather. My car has cloth seats (so I'm not sure I can help at all), but my previous partial leather car had leather only on the face panels of the seats (the part you sit on or against). The sides, backs, and door panels looked like leather, however. See, they look so good you can't tell where the leather ends.

Partial leather means:leather trim on steering wheel, leather shifter boot and the seats are also leather(except the center panels with the holes in it, which are leatherette)

Carrera standard interior aka leatherette with partial leather seats:
- Front seats with leather seating surfaces. Sides and back in leatherette
- Steering wheel in leather
- Shifter boot and handbrake in leather

Also,in the std no cost "partial leather" , the rear seats are 100% vinyl ( oops, " leatherette " ). " All Leather" adds leather sides and backs of front seats and leather rear seats. " Full Leather" gets very complicated , different for model years also. That's also different from " Full Leather Package " , which requires " Full Leather" first , so the two together come to nearly $9500. That doesn't even include leather visors, overhead light binacle, surround around trunk buttons, and more .
I hope this gets across the point on how Porsche has targeted options as a legal way of " printing money ".
