slightly OT: K-40 question

My K-40 seems to be on the fritz. When I turn it on, it goes through the usual checks and then makes a small beep just about every second. No lights, just the sound. Still responds to radar as usual, just getting this regular beeping noise. Any thoughts?

I have been having the same problem for at least a year. The stupid thing falses so much I keep it turned off most of the time anyway. I'm going to replace it with a V1 soon.

I had the same problem and so many false signals. I replaced with V1, it seems to me better but there is no such a thing 100% accuracy...
