I just learned that the the E-46 M3 CSL is actually going to be produced for sale, at least here in Europe, for around 78,000 Euro's which is less than a standard 996 coupe but 200kg (should be around 3000lbs)lighter than the regular M3 and 350HP+. That M3 can actually give our 966's hell out there in the roads to say the least(thank god for their 250km/h limited chips
).
At least BMW cares for its renn-customers... as Porsche USED to do

LIke I said, it will probably be only for Europe. And that 78,000 Euros price was listed by the TV program dedicated to cars I just saw in which thew showed the car, along with a piece on the new 996 C4s. Its the first credible info I get on the CSL, since the stuff I read previously were just speculations which said that it wasn't even going to be produced(Be it that this is not the V8 M3-GT of 250,000$.)
