This weekend I added Aluminum pedals to my car. I selected the pedals from Cargraphic, since I'm nuts about buying anything with the word "Turbo" on it.
I was in for a big surprise starting this. I thought you just pulled off the rubber boots and fastened these on......Wrong, found out you have to drill out the holes. And I found out that saying by a wise man is true........"you got to use the right tool for the job Beavis"...UhUh...he said tool.
The weird thing about drilling these out is that while the pad on the clutch and accelerator are made of plastic, the brake is metal......tough to drill out using standard drills. I had to buy several Titanium coated split tip drills to keep the bit from walking. The next difficult thing was marking the holes. One guy said to clamp it, but I found since the pedal is rounded the clamps wouldn't hold. So I held up the new pedal with one had and used a pink paintstick to mark it with the other. So the brake was the hardest to drill out, the accelerator was the hardest to fasten (hard to reach around to get the nut on it, and no access on the far side....blocked from the transmission tunnel).
OK, so the first pic is the stock look, then two showing the addition. Then the last pic is what the Ultimate Cupholder looks like. I have been impressed by it.
