Help Please - Hood release jammed!
I was in the process of taking a wheel off the car to have a slow leak looked at when I realized that the hood and engine cover release latches will not work!
They seem to be jammed and even putting a medium amount of force on them won't budge... I am afraid of using any more.
Any ideas?
I have read that there is an emergency release somewhere at the front of the car but cant find it.

OK - Sorted it out! I did the Microsoft based re-boot of the car (turned everything on and off a few times) and it went back to normal operation...

Curious about your Targa Tasmania note in your address....I lived in Tassie for several years and my company sponsored a car in the event, I just had a friend send me DVD copies of the '97, '98 '02 rallies. Did you compete? One of the great rallies of the world and the Porsche museum usually enters at least one car. Your address says New Jersey which is a bit north of Tasmania (I also see that Newfoundland is setting up the same kind of rally)
