B&M short shifter vs Porsche warranty
I am considering installing the short shift from B&M. Does this void any warranties from Porsche? Also, if the car is leased, will the lease company demand that the short shifter be removed and replaced with a stock Porsche shifter at the end of the lease? TIA

I guess it depends on the dealer/service you're dealing with. Some don't make a big deal and some do. I would ask your dealer/service guy and go from there. My dealer/service knows I did the B&M/Unichip/Row suspension/ intake and exhaust and they know I track quite abit so when car was under warranty(not anymore-expired) never had dealer/service issues. FYI, My Dealer had 'em in stock & offered to put it in on arrival, which was done @ about $300. No Warrantee issue according to them. By the way What Are You Waiting For? Try it you'll love it! and wonder why it doesn't come that way.

depends on dealer. i never had prob with warranty and B&M, however, they did warn me that if i had tranny prob and they see damage on gears, they COULD assume that i shortshifted and was banging gears before the shortshifter engaged, thus not warranty it.
