Default Daddy Is Ready For Track Time

Amigo's, I have a very basic question: I would very much like to begin some DE classes and start Tracking my 996. I simply need to know how to I start ? Where do I go ? etc..... I have changed my schedule to allow weekend time. Thank you in advance....

RJ, better hurry soon, cause track season is almost over (or it might have ended already!)

But yeah, what he said.... Get a helmet, find a track and go! Best fun you will ever have with the car...

Join your local NNJR PCA - you could start by checking out their web site. Very active group with lots of events.

Too bad you made this decision in November - you have lots of time to prepare now!

There's always next year. If you come down to VIR, I will be there and I will show you the ropes. Talk to Arlene (TNTPorsche)

I would start with the PDE this winter, gives you a real taste for DE's. Ditto above, another is the PDA, they have a a event at LRP on 11/10, weather will most likely suck.
There are a couple of great tracks going up in the area (Thunderroad in south NJ, alpinemotorsports, etc), but LimeRock, Watkins Glen, Pocono are the favs(WGI is king)
The metronypca gas a nice DE site and a DE manual you can download. There are also several other car clubs that also book track days. Good luck, see ya there!

NNJR's last DE event is VIR 11/11-11/13. The club is very active. I have been a member just over a year now. Great group. They will make you feel very welcome. If you would like any more information please PM me. I'd be glad to help you out... Google NNJR and you'll come up with the site.
