Post 19 inch Speedlines...

Driving my '00 c4 cab home from the dealer, after installing 19" SAC's with 275/30 - 245/35 Yokos, I noticed a huge difference in the low-end pull.

It was gone!! Figuring the 245's up front were too tall, I ordered 235's instead. Hopefully that'll get me back closere to where I was.

Outside tire diameter of the front 245's are 25.8 or .7" taller than stock size(ouchy, to tall for heavy cab).

Rear 275's are 25.5 or .2" taller than stock.

The 235's are 25.5 or .4" taller than stock(Still kinda tall..that's almost a half an inch).

225/35's would be only .1" taller, yet I'm being told they can't handle the weight of the car..??!! Thus the 235's were ordered.

These wheels are very light, actually lighter than the '02 Carrera wheels I replaced but I was surprised at how much difference a tire which is slightly taller than stock OD, has on the performance.

I've had Volk Racing wheels in the past on Honda's and they are sick light yet I'd never really done a plus 2 conversion with them. Only plus 1. My NSX had 18's.

Cab's already heavy, thus if I can't get back what the seat of my pants lost...I may be giving these wheels up..

Can't seem to post to the classified section at this time ??!! If anyone's interested in the 245/35/19's AVS Sports I took off...PM me. Cheap cheap..

I noticed this exact same problem when I went from 265's rear to 295's.

Also be careful to keep the F&R diameter as close as you possibly can. Significant differences can wreak havoc w/your AWD setup.
