wiper blades
I need new wiper blades for my 2000 996, and before I head off to the dealer, I thought I would ask everyone here if you've had any luck with after-market wiper blades. Have you found that they performed better? Can they be found online anywhere? Do they last longer?
Any info would be appreciated. My blades start losing their effectiveness after a few months. <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[burnout]" />

Never go back to the dealer for "wear" items, ALways use aftermarket. The aftermarket wouldn't sell if it wasn't substantially better than what the dealer provides.
Current example for me is the 996 pollen filter, the factory one is head and shoulders better that the one the dealer stocks. (now all I have to do is find out how to get the factory version).
I bought the PIAA wipers but Bosch works jut fine.
