Red face New Ruf Pedals!!

I wanted to buy a set of Ruf pedals for my C2 996 manual shift. I was told that the new production Ruf pedals will have the Ruf logo stamped only on the gas pedal not on all pedals as in the past.

i gotta believe that one of RUF's distributors has a set left. They're so expensive they can't sell that quickly. BTW, the RUF dead pedal does not have the RUF emblem even now.

Don for some reason I do have the Ruf logo on my dead pedal but purchased awhiles back from Weissach-maybe year ago. The clutch/brake has no logo but the gas pedal does. Have they stopped making them-that blows. Regards. Mike

That's odd, because I have a TipS and ordered the set of 3. Gas and brake have logo, but dead pedal didn't. Didn't say anything because I just assumed (boy can that word get people in trouble) that since it was not necessarily ordered with every set, it didn't have logo. I guess I was lucky to get mine on the brake pedal as well. It's a bummer because they cost so friggin much to begin with you'd think they would want their name on them....especially RUF. I'm assuming you're checking eBay..

I found out when I called the dealer in Canada and he told me the logo will only be on the brake pedal. So I E-mailed Ruf in Germany and I got a reply back saying that Logo will only be on gas pedal on new production of pedals. I guess maybe if sales fall of drmatically they will re-think this idea. Maybe we can all help by saving our disposable income.

I just ordered a set of the RUF pedals, for my manual 996, and the dead pedal from the dealer in Canada. I didn't ask about the logos, so we'll see what I get. The logo thing wouldn't have hindered my decision because IMHO I think that they're the the best looking pedals on the market.

You're right. You can easily tell they are RUF pedals w/o logo.

Got my pedal set and dead pedal today. The RUF logo is only on the Gas pedal. I really would've liked to have them all with logos, but the lack of logos allows for more rubber and they look great none the less.

Hey, Don. I love those RUF pedals! If I remember correctly from other posts, you are over 6 feet tall. I was just looking at my yucky rubber pedals, and it seems my size 12 feet barely clear the brake pedal when I'm on the gas. Do you ever inadvertently hit the brake pedal when on the gas with the RUF pedals? If you say "Never", I'm about ready to order those pedals!!

Can't say never...but I'm under 6 feet and wear smaller shoes. My problem is not my large feet..it's more like my middle section...and of course mine is a tipS so I do some left foot braking.
