I used Intercity from Chicago to Tampa and back. Absolutely "car guys" who care as much about your baby as you do!

Drive it home! You'll have a great time bonding with your new toy; my drive home was all of three miles (ahem: England is somewhat smaller than the US); man i wish it had been 1,000mi

Hey Man....you gotta drive it home. A few years ago I bought my second 911 from a guy in Seattle (I live in TN).....I flew out and drove it home and had a wonderful time. It's a great way to see the country and a great way to get "in touch" with your new ride.

But----if you have to ship it I recommend Passport Transport...I think they are a division of FedEx. None of the shippers are going to be cheap and it is a competative business (read--they all charge about the same thing) but the guys at Passport do an excellent job.
