Default Wheel Offset Question

Put a set of 2004 turbo twist on my wifes, 2003 targa today.

8 inch in the Fronts
11 in the rears

Both with 50 offset

Has anyone done this, it looks to me like I need the rears to be in a little, they protrude no more than 6mm or so out more than they should, and I am thinking I should put a slight spacer on the front to push the fronts out just a tad.. Looking for just that right look... and I don't want a Pro street Targa. LOL

Just looking for an experience with this.

Thanks.

I put a set of 11" turbo rears on to test something else on my 2003 C2 and it looks serious wrong.

Can I get a hub, that has a smaller offset , and that would bring it in a bit....

I am sure it can be fixed somehow, oh well what would I do, if I didn't mess up from time to time.

It can be fixed.....buy a narrow body turbo look wheel with the correct offset. Sorry for sounding like a smart a** but you can't push a wheel in, only add spacers to push out.

I was actually referring to a different hub, or wheel carrier, that might have a different offset, but alas it doesn't matter, have to get some 9 or 10's, it is actually kind of funny, I will see if I can upload a pic,,,, I have a Pro Street Porsche for a while til I can get wheel enhancement to do me some rears up.....I will disclose this is my wifes car, so keep that in mind with the colors on the car, you either dig it, or hate.. no in between.

It would cost you more in parts, etc. to change the cars to accept the wide body offset than it would to just buy the correct offset wheel. BTW, Porsche does make the Turbo wheel in narrow body offset.

Yep, I have Wheel Enhancement on it as we speak, maybe I will luck out and get a narrow body rears that will fit the tires on the rear, if not someone will get a good deal on the 10 mile, Michelin Pilot Sports...
