MECHANIC NEEDED IN SOUTH FLORIDA
I have been a lurker on this board for a year, finally joined two days ago. This is my first post and it is not a good one. I bought a 1999 C2, with 24, 000 miles on it in North Carolina last October. I purchased an after market warranty. Everything has been fine for the last year, today my ac went out and I coud not get the key out of my ignition(I can get it out now) and now the car won't turn over at all. Thought it might be a battery, but AAA said they thought it was a ignition/electrical problem.
Does any body know a good Porshe mechanic in Broward County, Fla., Davie/Plantation area? (The dealer here Champion motors are bunch of a-holes).

Try Richard Danvers Automotive in Pembroke Park 954 455 0404. He has been my Porsche mechanic for over 20 years and has given me absolutely flawless service. He has a special gift of being able to diagnose the problem and fixing it right the first time. He is not just a parts changer, which is probably the only thing the dealer will do untill they get it right, however at your expense.
Richard is honest and trustworthy and knows how to treat people. However you must be patient since he is a one man shop, but he does keep his appointments.
Sincerely,
Barron

I don't know if you are close to Palm Beach, but there is a place called Stahl Motorsports down there--I don't have the number handy but they are good guys down there.
