I got this 996 PCM units from 2001/2002 996.Part numbers are
996-642-104.04 EFR
996-542-122-03 EFR
Made by SIEMENS. This one has cassette drive up top and CD drive to right and NAV drive sepearte at bottom. Question: Does this unit handle DSP processing?

Yes, but you need a DSP amp.

Thanks Rob. I do have 6 channel OEM amp that has built in DSP equalization. I guess it is just matter of hooking up with right harnesses.
