There are three harnesses available from porsche, ~51, noted above around 50$, 30sec install, no brake light. The other is ~04 with a brake light, around 100$, the third is a C4S aero harness about 400$, identicle to the ~04 harness. You need the harness to avoid' spoiler fail' lights.
You will nee some sort of front splitter, without it, I found the wing very unstable at speed on the track, I added a TT lip, fixed the problem...... then I got tired of it and sold the wing.
Omar, I reinstalled all that crap, no problem.

Hey guys - about a month ago I had posted a thread about a carrera rear wing I purchased from Departstop. Still don't have the wireharness and light that goes with the wing and I'm not confident that Dayton will ever come up with the goods (bought the wing in August).... does the light/wire harness mentioned in the previous posts work with the carrera wing?

Kirby - Can you hook me up with the harness I need? I just want to get the darn wing installed on my car!

Here's the replica wing I purchased...

So just to be clear on the part# - I need 996 612 070 04

This will get me a wireharness and the brake light.....correct?
The info I received from DepartStop was that ALL these kits shipped to dealers/etc were screwed up and that its pointless to try and buy one because they will all be incorrect.

Has anyone installed one recently to know that this isn't the case?

Thanks again for all your help...Will

Kilrgt, I'm not sure which one, they both look the same. Do you have a way to reset the warning light? (Disconnect the battery for a minute). So the light came on at 75mph? Make sure you tie strap it tight and that the button is depressed.

Sorry I couldn't be more help...
