More on Silver Bulbs: Stealth vs Philips
I just replaced my stealth 7507 front turn signal bulbs with Philips Silvervision PY21W. Have to say the difference is HUGE.
Stealth: Most of the light you see is the filament...hard to see in strong sunlight. Left and right did not match in color. However, no telltale orange anywhere with the light off.
Philips: Bright light fills the entire reflector housing. Easy to see in bright conditions. Downside is you see a little orange smear on each side when the light is off.
I am going to stick with the Philips...I was concerned about getting creamed by someone who could not see my signal.
Of course, YMMV. Oh yeah, got them from a guy in England. Not too cheap for turn signal bulbs.
