Hi folks.

I'm looking at purchasing a 1999 996 with only 12,500 miles. The current owner states that the 'cam actuator flange seal' was replaced under warranty.

Is this just a fancy name for the RMS?

The owner has all records so I'm debating on if I need to have a pre purchase inspection done with this low milage - any thoughts?

This is not the RMS. I'm not a mechanic but the actuators are on either side of the engine and so is not the RMS
