Default M030 and Compensation plates

I'm getting ready to install the ROW M030 and noticed when researching parts that there are compensation plates/shims/spacers that are part of the strut stack. Looking at parts lists, there appear to be two different thicknesses of these plates available with the thinner ones about 3mm less than the thicker ones front and rear. I ordered a set of the thinner ones with the thought of using those to gain an extra 3mm of lowering all around if the thicker one(s) are already installed.

I know that these are designed to be installed based on the spring tollerance which is marked on the spring to obtain the "correct" ride height. I'm interested in finding out what others have found installed on their cars when disassembling the suspension for upgrades. A single spacer? A thick (6.5mm front, 4mm rear) spacer? No spacer?

Thanks for any info.
