Assuming yours is not a widebody, the rears are the right offset. The fronts in an 8" are usually 50 or 52mm. Thus, the ones you're talking about are "in" an extra 6 to 8mm. You might have fitment problems such as hitting the brakes, but it depends on the exact shape of the spokes, etc. Worst case, you could probably use spacers in the front. Make sure you have an out if they don't fit since 58mm looks kind of funky to me.

If the price is really right, it will easily offset the cost of front spacers if you even need them.

HRE makes nice wheels. About the painting, you may want to ask how many miles are on the wheels and if they were ever tracked, etc. A few months back, there were a few threads where I think HREs were being banned at some events because the centers were breaking under race conditions. I think there was some discussion about possible ill-effects of powder-coating wheels (related to heat stress). Some others commented that wheels subject to race conditions need to be inspected regularly. My concern would be painting the centers might hide any kind of stress cracks. No expert here, just regurgitating some past comments in threads.

You could put the GT3 5mm spacers and bolts on the front, and you'll be about the stock offsets. The GT3 spacers/bolts/retaining screws/locks, though, are about $375 from the dealer if I remember.

Before you walk away, there's a good chance if they're on a 996 now, that they would fit yours. Just depends on how **** you are about fit/look (I am). At the same time, if it's on eBay, the price will likely go up anyway, so don't get your heart set on them. There are plenty of nice wheels out there. Good luck!
