I was told it goes with the car, not the owner, so there is no concept of transferring a CPO warranty.

Yes, the CPO Limited Warranty transfers to the new owner of the vehicle.

It doesn't transfer. There is no concept of tranfer. Why am I making a point of this? Because when you go to "transfer" the warranty, you are wasting your time. It's with the car, not you.

You are incorrect.

On page 9 of the Porsche Approved Limited Warranty booklet is a paragraph entitled "Warranty Transfer" which states:

"The balance of this Warranty may be transferred to another private owner. Porsche Cars N.A. does not charge a fee for this transfer, but requires that a Change of Address Card found at the back of this book to be sent to Porsche Cars N.A. Once the covered vehicle is traded or sold to any commercial dealer or broker, this warranty is void."
