Clear Armor question, help....
Ok, question: I have clear armor on my car. It was just applied. The old was removed due to a very poor install, many fingerprints and stretch marks ect.
So i just get my car back tonight. While looking it over in my garage, i notice many many scratches and ect, from what appears to be the removal of the old armor. The new armor was installed on top of the scratches so i cant get to them to rub them out.
Also, while looking at the front bumper, it appears that they split the armor horizontally across the bumber right below the bumper plugs, from fender to fender. Isn't this supposed to be a one piece install? Not split? It looks like they cut the old with a razor and and matched the new on to it. Is this normal? I am gonna reserve calling up the installer until i get it washed and see what it looks like.

Sounds like your new installers are just a worthless as the first installers. These are questions you should have covered up front with them. Did you? If so, then they need to either 1)refund your $$$ or 2)redo it.
I made sure that my installer was top notch (does all the Porsche dealer cars here under "contract" and even CGT's!). I checked past work, asked around, etc.
In addition, I watched pretty much the entire install so I could alert them of any conflicts between what they were doing and what I wanted. Also wanted to see exacatly how much work goes into a proper install. These guys spent rougly 8 hours on my car!
I have ZERO seams on my entire front GT3 bumper because they did a custom 1-piece install.

Ruh Roh! I would be flippin hot at the dealer right about now!!! The strange thing here in Vegas is that even though they have this company out here do their cars (and add it to the sales invoice) is that they send the cars to the company's shop and will NOT allow them to do the install at the dealer......can sombody say liability.
Yup, if I were you I would be having a nice morning chat with the dealer.

Sounds like Clear Armor installed it at the dealer for you. If you're interested in getting it done properly, please don't hesitate to give us a call.
