Default PPI for porsche certified car

Do i need to do PPI if I buy a Porsche Certifed car from Porsche dealer?

depends on the cost of the PPI. If anything I'd pull the history at the dealer....

I did (I got dealer to pay for it too). My concern was that Porsche Certified inspection is looking to cover THEIR butt for the short term (like two more years), but wouldn't necessarily worry about the same things I would for the longer-term (e.g., RMS history).

I agree with C4S Jim. Porsche is not watching out for you. They are watching out for themselves. You are paying a premium for a P/certified used car. Make them pay a premium for your business by by having them pay for a PPI at a dealer or shop of your choice by negotiating the price down at least for the cost of the PPI.

Another thing, know exactly what their certification warranty covers and does not cover. Read the contract---there are specific exclusions, i.e. repairs that are not covered in the certification. Know what they are.
