Would this be needed on a 2003 C4S, or is it for earlier models primarily?
Thanks

More needed for the 99-01 models with the RoWM030 suspension but a great addition for ALL 911s. 99-present

Less than 5 minutes. Remove 3 bolts and re-insert them with the plate in place.

Are there any disadvantages that you know of by utilizing this plate? Such as not identifying oil leaks, which would be identified w/o it.
TIA

If you are referring to RMS, then no. Not anywhere near it.

there is a small issue with the plate which is very minor. when changing your old you have about 1/2 inch less clearance because the plae extends about 1/2 below the lowest point of the pan. I set my car up on some wood boards when I change the oil to compensate.
if the issue about hiding any oil leaks is of concern to you you can pop that puppy off in about 30 seconds. Its just three bolts holding it on.
