Default manually lowering roof

anybody know how to do this on a 99 911? It doesnt want to go down by its self, the tonneau cover is halfway optn already and everything seems to be unlatched.

It's a fairly complicated procedure but it is well documented in your owner's manual.

what if i dont have an owners manual right now? i know i need to get one but i need to get the roof off tomorow morning.

It is hard to describe the procedure without the pictures. It is not a straightforward process. Your best bet is to download the owner's manual from Renntech.org. The manual is for MY03 Carrera but the process should be similar. Here's a link to the manuals page:
