Default Fabspeed exhaust review

I installed my Fabspeed exhaust on Saturday. Took about an hour. Fit and finish were amazing. Dan at Vivid gave me a great deal! My review is below:

WOW!!

Can you feel a difference in power? I've wanted to get the fabspeed but just can't pull the trigger.

you don't buy the exhaust for power gains... you buy it for the sound! so sweetttt

No power gains that I can notice, although I think the flyer that came with the exhaust claims 8-10 HP increase, but you know how that is. I was impressed more with the solid polished stainless construction, the size and weight decrease, and the SOUND.

The car's faster now, but probably only because it sounds so good I drive it faster!

If you like it now, you will love it in a couple months. The Fabspeed gets better with age.

When I put my fabspeeds on, I didn't like them at first, but after a few months they sound much better, no resonance anymore, great sound. They get better with age.

There is a power gain. Once you go with the ECU it is more noticeable too. I got 6 instock. Glad you liked it, so anyone else, jump on it and PM me!

I had ImagineAuto in Kansas City put mine on about four months ago. I also had an airbox(also Fabspeed) and the chip-hacked. I felt about a 10-15 bump in torque and horses. The sound is what you get it for in street driving. The blip downship gives the girls shivvers if you know what I mean....

Fabspeed alone new is good.
Fabspeed alone after a month is better.
Fabspeed with Evom Airbox is just plain awsome.
Not sure about the HP gain but for sure there is a gain in term of trottle response.

Another member on here posted he actually saw a rwhp *drop* of ~15 after installing the fabspeed mufflers and bypass + headers on his N/A 02' cabrio..?? He later installed TPC's intercooled supercharger kit and saw nearly 420RWHP...whats THAT about??

There is NO HP loss at all. Impossible. But of course you will get a huge increase with a SuperCharger, that is Forced Induction and $8000 less in your pants

Most performance exhaust & induction realted mods require a remap/exchange of the ECU to compensate for the loss of backpressure that comes with the free-flowing exhaust. More air in, more air quicker out!
