Installed the airbag deactivation bar and modified a 944 seatbelt - works great!...
Thanks to those that guided me on this. I was having an issue with boosters in the back seat. People rec. the Britax Stariser - they work great in front and back.
Also, the 944 seatbelt can be easily modified to fit the deactivation bar - good advice there too! I bought a pair of 944 seatbelts, spent 10 minutes with a bench grinder and voila - works great. I did need to have the dealership code the car to know the bar was in there but I can now safely transport my little ones in front or back in nicely fitting seats.
Also, I ended up modifying 2 seatbelts while I was at it so if anyone needs the extra one to deactivate the airbag without using the Porsche specific seat, I'd be happy to donate it to a good cause.
