Thanks. programmatore. I was thinking of disabling the OEM horns. Looking at the wiring schematics, the high and low horns seem to be in parallel circuit. Maybe simpler to do what you did and just hook the new horn in series to either one.

I replaced my factory horn with the Griots horn after a large truck almost backed into me. I had to remove the front bumper (about 1/2 hour job), then I disconnected the factory horn (you have to cut the wire next to the clip) and attached the new horn with a large bolt to the same bracket. All you need for the electrical connection is another pair of wire prong connectors. Then re-install the bumper and you're set. I hardly ever use my horn, but when I do, it makes a world of difference, and is well worth $40 or so bucks.
