Any recommendations on a Detailer in Chicago/Naperville area? I used to use Emmons Coachworks in Villa Park, but they have closed down.

I use a good detailer in Barrington, Barrington Auto Spa, but they are probably a bit too far from you. If not, let me know and I can provide their contact details.

I looked up their website for additional info. I think I may have been spoiled at Emmons. They had one detailer that worked only on your car for the entire day. Everything was applied by hand with great attention to detail. They used primarily Zymol products. Anyone know of any detailers still providing a similar service in the Chicagoland area?

I would like to know too. I know 2 detailers in Highland Park but neither are great, just pretty good.

I highly reccomend The Last Detail (http://www.thelastdetail.com) in North Chicago (which is just north of Lake Forest / Lake Bluff and just east of Libertyville)

they do the best job, bar none. As many of you know, with detailing you get what you pay for. The Last Detail does an excellent job, and I acutally work there, but in the car sales department, not the detailing department. Which brings me to my next point, we always have a lot of very cool cars around to look at while you are dropping off or picking up your car, everything from 1937 Lincolns to 996's to vintage racecars.

Not interested in getting your car detailed? Stop in on Saturdays between 9 and 12 for a FREE 100% hand car wash, we don't even own any machines, and wouldn't dream of washing a car any way but by hand.
