Default Removing carrera sticker

I'm trying to remove my sticker in the back, any tips on what to use to take the glue/sticker off. I dont want to scratch the paint but I want the "Carrera" outline removed..

I bought the "911" emblem.

I used a hairdryer, dental floss and adhesive remover.

I heated the 'Carrera' emblem and then slide the floss behind it. Once the emblem is off I used the Adhesive remover to take off any extra glue left behind.

Hey Red. I did this a while ago -- I replaced the black Carrera script with a silver Carrera script. I just used a long piece of waxed dental floss (Oral B Spearmint flavor, not that it matters) and slid it behind the script. I then used an up-down motion to cut through the rubbery adhesive. It helps a little if the adhesive is warm so leave it in the sun or use a blow dryer to warm it up.

Same here. I used floss and then 3M adhesive remover in the spray can. I just used painters tape and masked off the area to pretect other areas.

dental floss!!! why didnt I think of that?? I was able to get the emblem off ok but the spongy rubbery sticker was a pain.. I used simple green and a terry cloth.. Not the best idea.. I think it left some swirls/scratches.. Also if I look really really close, I still see the "Carrera" emblem.. To add to that, I have blisters on my fingers now from trying to rub it off with my fingers.. I didnt use a hair fryer bc the car was already warm from the sun and I just got back from a drive.. Maybe I should have heated it up some more???

After the dental floss don't forget to use the water pik, then brush very well.

Use goo off or the 3M adhesive remover.

Careful with a hair dryer getting to close to the clear coat. Put you finger near the emblem mark to keep it from getting too hot.

Any swirl mark can be removed with wax or polish unless you really mess it up. Take your time and don't rush!
