Default My 40th Anniversary Gets Best in Show!

Hola Amigos,
Well today I entered my first ever Concours d'Elegance. This was at the PCA-Los Angeles Region, and my 40th Anniversary got 1st place in its competition class and Best in Show in its division. I feel good!!!

I spent many hours getting the car ready, and I ended up with a car that looks much better than when I bought new. For the exterior finish I decided to go with Klazze all-in-one + Klazze sealant glaze + P21S Paste Wax. First time I use these products and most certainly will use this combo in the future. I was certainly impressed with the P21S product, ease of use and practically no residue.

The guys at Premier Mobile (Rennlist sponsor) did the clear bra, and this win should reflect on the outstanding work they do!

Here's some shiny evidence.

Cheers to all!

Congrads! Wait a minute, I'll be right back....................... sorry, for the delay, but I had to go get my sunglasses before I could finish the post, cuz the reflection off of the car was blinding me! Your 40th looks GREAT! Nice pics, nice job on the detailing. Don't you wish she would stay that way?

Did you use a machine, or did you glaze by hand?

Thank you all for the kind compliments!... This is why Porsches are so cool - They look great going nuts at the track and keep looking great at the car shows!

Lee: It was all elbow grease. No machines. The nice thing about these products is that they apply easy and come off easy. I sincerely liked the P21S paste wax. Impressive performance of the product. Which you can obviously see.

Jon: Yes those are the original polished wheels that come with the 40th Anniversary cars. I just took the wheels off and used a metal polish to bring them back to life.

Congrats, a lot of hard work as you said. I looked at my interior and decided I would concour only the carpet. 2 hrs of work I am not sure it is at the level of yours. I'd call you a freak for submitting yourself to that type of work; but as a P-car owner I know it is passion. Way to go. I think they should have a half-concour for people like me, kinda like the half marathon. I am an excellent half-asser, per the wife.

Default Awesome

Congrats on the win. Looks great. That you did it all by hand is impressive. You might want to look into getting a PC easier on the arms. Stan did you ever get rid of the bikini line?
