It's not really my cup of tea, but I don't think it's all that bad despite being a huge motorsports fan.

Well IMHO I think it is gorgious. I love cabs and there isn;t anything wrong in modding a 996 cab to that detail. The only thing I don;t like is the colour. I can picture it would look fantastic in basalt black or seal grey......hell zenith blue even

No go considering all the mods and false advertising from every angle.

I'm not into the fake badging thing, no less absurd than a Maranello Fiero to me. Only a moron would try to get away with that. There's nothing wrong with stock 996 power, so why the need to embellish?

As for the mods, not really to my liking, but to each his own.

BTW, I had a 3.4 996 for >6 years and am well aware of its capabilities.

OT--when's your next DE Carlos?

I'll be @ T-hill on the 24th with NCRC.

buttonwillow with pca-ggr 25th-26th with an option to do the 24th with central coast region. i've heard good things about ncrc, not so packed like nasa and you get to run with non-porsches. eventually i would like to do the ggr time trial series.

I did that "day before" event with Central Coast @ BW 2 years ago and it was great. Lots more track time than GGR for less $$$. Do it, you'll thank me afterwards.

NCRC is good, but their events are starting to get much more crowded with time trials, races, etc. I liked it better in the past.
