CDR23 Radio Code issues :(
Hi All, I just bought a cdr23 cd radio for my 99 996. I have the 4 digit code but it wont let me enter it. I dont have the manual so I am a bit lost. It just says security. I did a search and cant find anything. Can someone please look in their radio manual and tell me how to enter the code? Thanks!! Mark

You just enter the numbers as the code suggests. For ex, if your code is 1-8-4-3 just punch it in that order using the numbered presets on the face. Hit 1 first, then 8, etc.

Uh oh....I just noticed something. You bought a CDR23 for a MY99? If I am not mistaken, the CDR23 is for the MY03+ cars with MOST. That may be your problem.

Yeah a CD23 is a definate no go into a 99. Im not sure if the 99s came with cdr210 or cdr220. At this point you may as well just get an aftermarket radio, the becker units are pieces anyways.
