Picked this puppy up a few weeks ago for 11k. Addressed bad motor mounts and failing window regulators. The clear coat is bad but I love the "patina". It's a 2002 Carrera 2 w/tiptronic 🤠 Howdy
In the mid-80's, I took a '72 911T and built what is now called a 'tribute' car or homage. Back then, it was a 'there's no way I can ever afford a real RS, but the parts are all out there to build one'. The car was absolutely correct in every way beginning with an MFI 2.7L RS-spec engine. Thought it would be fun to lay-over the '02 Carrera in a transition photo.....
2003 996 new to me this week. Highly optioned with "X" options, sport seats, center console painted in car color, sport seat backrest painted in car color, aluminum look instrument faces, "18 Carrera 5 spoke wheels . 51K miles, original paint!

Something about the red painted center console.........awesome.
This is the quintessential parking lot pic. This phenomenon occurs when a Porsche owner is walking back to his/her car and is struck by the sheer beauty of it and is then compelled to snap a pic. And this is regardless of background, weather, natural disaster...etc..
Well done.
Oh yeah, I love this picture. My summer job during college was cleaning septic tanks, and I also had to service the porta-potties. I can almost relive the amazement to see a beautiful 911 during work at 20 years old wondering if I would ever have the chance to be a 911 owner.
