Awesome! Would you be willing to share where I could find such a lake? Might have to go there next time I'm out west.

This one is called Soggy Dry Lake in the Lucerne Valley off the 247 (?). There are many dry lakes in the SouthWest to drive on. Las Vegas has a few, SoCal has a few pretty much around every second corner.

And no, it's not salt, it's sand. Still messy, though.

Ps: Make sure to drive the area slowly at first. Nasty ridges can go undetected otherwise, making for brown moments in high-speed drives.
Also, depending on the weather leading up to the day driving on it, burn-outs may not be a good idea. Within 5 minutes of us arriving and setting up the camera, a modded jeep managed to flip on its roof while attempting that.
Made for quite a scenic backdrop..

Whatever it is you wouldn't want to leave it on your car or undercarriage.

Car looks good -

Are those 997 wheels ? the bigger 19" ?

The size looks right with the gap between them and the car -

either that or you have lowered it- but it looks good.

Those are the 18" 996.2 despite my car being a '99 ('98 technically). Bought it like this from PO.

I've got the sports suspension (code M030), thus the slightly lower ride height. Replaced the shocks with Bilsteins 10k miles ago.

I love the look of the wheels. They're fairly wide too: 225 in the front and 285 in the back. Grip for days..
