When I was young I use to have a huge poster of a silver turbo that has a huge whaletail. My 996 is silver, coincidence...NOT !

As far as a Marlin off the Keys...agreed as long as it's on a fly.

hmm..i guess for daily driving and just going from point A to point B, i'll get some speed in first..usually upto 3k rpm (4k maybe once in a while)..then keep shifting gears till 5th to save gas as long as the rpms don't drop below 1700..otherwise the engine sorta lugs.

for performance driving its usually upto 5500 unless there's a worthy opponant then all bets r off and its redline for the first 3 gears then a heel toe and hard on the brakes for the corner and a friendly as he disapears.

I do know.... I've been dragged into court three times within the last 5 years where I was asked for more $$$ in child support! WTF.... Seems like each time I get a new car we're back again.... LOVE MY KID and so I pay but boy ....

You should have made it down with us this last week, we went on a run where everyone was 90-110 to SD.... I did a couple of passes at 120-ish + but nothing compared to a couple of CGTs that made it out there.....

I can't even imagine what that is like Eli....I guess all I can do is apologize for my gender...I hope it's not done in spite...that's just wrong when children are involved.

I so wished I could have. SD is a LONNNNNG ways away. I am really jonesing for a little road trip. Summer seems like it is finally here!! I was having my doubts. So one of these weekends I will have to make it down for a drive. I have been so busy with some remodeling in my home, there hasn't been much time for anything else. I'd like to get out on the water soon (wakeboard!!) too!! 120mph?? That's all???

Don't worry about it.... I don't think it's a gender thing, is what I mean.... I'm sure you're the sweet heart we all think you are but on the other hand I have to deal with YOU KNOW WHO.....

I was just talking with a couple of my buds... about the HO2 sports.... I need to get on the blades again before I loose my water-legs....

Let me know when you're coming down..... Don't worry I know all about that home stuff..... This is part of the reason why I wasn't able to join in on my own group-buy on the SC kits.....

Take care,

-Eli

Well back to the original thread...I also seem to have become slightly more aggressive since my EP S2 Q exhaust, PSS9 suspension, GIAC, GT3 seats...I just love it!! Fast, smooth with an intoxicating sound. I love the seats as well!!!

Second, sadly enough, the spoiler. Knowing that the spoiler deploys at 75 sometimes "encourages" me to exceed that amount just to pop it up. Sad, I know. I am supposed to get my car back tomorrow with the fixed Carerra spoiler, so hopefully that bad habit will go away.

I love my SSK, but it doesn't really affect how I drive.
Hey TD...

Why don't you put in the spoiler switch mod. It takes about 30-45 minutes to do.

Because in about, say, three hours, I pick my car up from the body shop where the fixed Carerra wing was installed

Now, I won't have that temptation any more . . .

Me too. I love the PSS9s and GT3 adjustable swaybars. I did have to back off from -2.5 camber to -2.0 camber when I went through a set of tires in 2,000 miles
