Question Tire recs

Okay summer is almost here although it feels like a wet April/spring here in the Washington DC area...it's time for new wheels and tires for the car. Car we are speaking of is a 99 996 C2 Arena red with gray/silver interior. Currently has factory 17" with factory caps. Desire to go up to 18" at this time. Any suggestions on wheels and tires sizes? Also anyone got their tires/rims online and recommend their shop highly? I've checked Tirerack.com and while okay the selection is slim.

Also anyone know of anyone locally or close by (to my area) as a road trip can always be arranged!

eBay has a few 18 that are factory (sport design, techno, turbo twist, carrera thin spoke). My personal favorite is the turbo twist from C4S and Turbo. These are more aggressive than the narrow body turbo twist which have 1" wider rears (18x11). Techno are cool if they are painted black on the inside.
