I had a great time meeting you guys. We could have talked Porsche for hours. Both of your cars are beautiful. Let's do it again soon and bring a few more Rennlist friends.

Jim,
Those are awesome. Thanks for posting. We'll do this again soon and invite more folks.
BTW one very fun part was a sheriff watched our cars while we went to get coffee. That was slick!

I just saw your post, a day too late. The High Desert Region PCA is having a cruise to PIR for the Portland Historic Races on July 9th & 10th. We'll be staying at the Gresham Holiday Inn on 9 July. Parking in the Collector Car Corral at PIR. Walk the pits and "hot laps" with the state police driving instructors.
Sorry I missed this one.

I almost said a walk through the Japanese Garden down there would be cool, until I figured out the STROLL through the countryside . I'm game. Maybe a trip to Mt. St. Helens for some "strolling", if it will ever quit raining.

Gresham is quite a ways away from PIR...there are many closer hotels.

High Desert Region is in Bend where I live. We're up to about 80 couples in our club. Very active as I believe the Portland club to be. Our schedule is posted at highdesertpca.org. Zone 6 rep is our local club past president. In 2006 the national meet is in Portland so I imagine we'll be pressed into service.
The July 9th drive starts in Bend, ice cream stop in Mosier, scenic stops along the Columbia River. I imagine the tour leader got a deal in Gresham. Carrera Motors (Bend) has a reception tent for us and is providing Porsches, BMW's and Audis for hot laps driven by the O.S.P. driving instructors. Two or three of our local club members will be racing, also.
I can't imagine any other club that is more active than this small town group. I'm sure there are equals, though.
Dang, I wanted a hot lap in a Lexus !
