Very interesting...the seller told me he paid an extra 225 each for the centers. How do you know they're fake?

Real centerlocks hold the wheels on (e.g. race cars) and unless you've changed your hubs, then you still have lug nuts and the centerlocks are purely decoration.

Porsche uses 315s on the rear on the GT2 which has 12 inch rims so don't worry about stretching...

I emailed the pix to Cargraphic, and those are the real deals!!!! They retail for $800 per set.

Richard.....those wheels come like that with the dummy lock or the normal centercaps. Personally I like the normal centercap. The dummy lock is something that looks better if it is real....for example, the same wheel but genuine......

This is really funny, or sad....I'm not sure which. After all this advice I got on this thread, I figured I'd better talk directly w/Cargraphic.....Erik, in the Miami office took a ton of time, over the course of 3 phone calls, to educate me.....he had me go back to the seller, and get serial numbers off the inside of one front, and one rear....guess what.....THE SIZES ARE NOT WHAT THE GUY WAS ADVERTISING!!!!! He listed a 19x9, and a 19x12.....what he has is 19x8 1/2, and 19x10 1/2...these aren't appropriate for a widebody......
What I learned from Erik is that they have a really close relationship w/Porsche, and their main manufacturing is directed to Porsche....and it would be a shame not to take advantage of making the perfect match between car & wheels....
It sounds like it's going to get a little expensive around here, but I think I've learned my lesson about trying to save a buck.

Good job doing the research Richard! Most people don't take the time to make sure they are getting exactly what is advertised. All to often people post here that they got burned on a transaction and the reason usually is b/c they didn't do their research and/or tried to save a buck.

This was a great example of what to do when looking to make a high dollar purchase.

Cheers,
Dell
