Default Need advice

Tried to post "off topic" but am not worthy. I'm getting all the red flags..when she's on the phone and I'm in the vicinity...it's a quick hangup..or her tone drops to a whisper. She has a brand new wardrobe that accents her recent weight loss. There's been an increase of "girls night out." and when she arrives home in the wee hours, I don't hear her car pull up. When querried, she states she takes a cab, and the driver lets her out down the block as to not disturb me. So last night I stake out the driveway ...hunkered down by my C4S Cab....got a clear view all the way down the block in either direction. In no time this heavily modded ricer with a 747 wing rolls up sans headlights. I flatten myself on the concrete waiting for the ultimate smackdown....when I notice this small chip on my immaculte basalt painted bumper....so after the touchup pencil, should I still use rubbing compound or what ?

Don’t use rubbing compound. I would go with the polishing compound, if I were you. That way both you and your “significant other” will each be “polishing” something!

Don't use a rubbing compound use a light polish like McGuires number 1 or 2.

Take a clean cloth like an old T-shirt and wrap it around the side of a credit card. After the touch up dries put a small drop of polishing compund on the edge of the cloth covered credit card and rub lightly over the glob of touch up. That will even it down to the original level of paint. If the chip doesn't completely fill do the entire thing over again starting with the touch up paint.
