Chad....I once pulled up to the valet parking attendant at the 4 Seasons, Beverly Hills....a few years ago....there was a black Carerra something-or-other....I don't remember the model....it had Florida plates......the car was first in line for the attendant, and I was second.......I watched the door open, and the driver started to get out, and he kept rising, and rising and rising, until I realized I was looking at Shaquille O'Neal....he was just moving to LA.....surely if he could fit in that car, you can. I looked at the car, and the rear seats had been removed, and the rails went all the way to the back of the cabin......
don't give up.....with all the modifying that goes on in the Porsche world, there's a solution for you to continue enjoying your car.

Good Luck......don't leave us!!!!!!!

Chad - Don't listen to Kirby! It's NOT because your head is too big! Check out the PIC below to see why you won't fit in your P-car...

Sorry Chad, I couldn't help myself! Since I don't know JACK (heh heh) about your seat problem, I thought I might be able to help put a smile on you face, at least for a minute or two. And I didn't want you to think that you were the ONLY one on this board who could PhotoShop!

Hang in there and stay with it! Some thing will surface to help resolve the issue. I am certain of that!

Hey Chad met you a long time ago @ Andretti's in ATL, hate to mention this but drastic times - drastic measures etc... have you considered adding a bubble to the roof? I think Ford had to do this on a GT40 for Mark Donue in the late 60'. Any decent body/ fab guy could do this and done right wouldn't look to bad. Just a thought .

Hey Stephen...

Been awhile my friend. I am debating. I have the car for sale. But, I am still unsure. I doubt if I'd do the "Gurney Bubble" on my 996.

Remember the movie GATOR with Burt Reynolds? The huge bad guy looked fly with the entire top third of his body poking through the sunroof with his left arm using the roof of the red lincoln as an armrest!!!!!
