Just spoke with the guys at Vortex Auto - who are distributors for the Schnell short shifter.
Almost identical product:
- 30% throw reduction
- Gear shift sits normally, as opposed to the B&M SS, which sits 10 - 14% to the right
- Poly housing instead of aluminum for a few parts
- Unconditional money back g'tee if dissatisfied
- Priced at $159, which is significantly lower than the B&M
Seems very attractive. I'm going to start a new thread to gauge member opinions, but heavily leaning towards this option.
