Canadian 030 Suspension
Hello,
I have a Canadian car with the "030" suspension. I spoke to someone at the dealership who has indicated that the 030 we get in Canada is the same as the RoW M030 whereas others have indicated that the Canadian 030 is the same as the U.S.-spec 030.
Does anyone know conclusively?
Thanks,
MT

Best way to tell is take a peek at your shocks and springs. What color are the painted dots on them. If you can provide that info then you will get the answer you are looking for. Also, what year and model is your car?

Canadian M030 is the same as USA AFAIK. They were that way on my 993 and 2001 Boxster S. The springs and shocks on the ROW version are different and the ride height is about 15 mm lower and much better looking IMO. You can buy the shocks and springs for not very much money from gert carnewal (site sponsor and great guy) www.carnewal.com His prices include 3 day air freight to Canada. The sprinigs and shocks are suprisingly inexpensive.

Thanks all for the answers. My car is a '99 996. I tried looking for the dots, but it looks like I'll have to wait until I can get the car up on stands or a hoist to take a look to see what colour they are.
Thanks again,
Terence
