Default orange RS

hi all,

back to early 70's porsche used to paint some RS cars with a specific orange.

basic question: how can i found in RGB mode this colour?
(or any other that will specify the correct colour?)

second question: is this colour still available as a special order?

that's because i am planning to paint a set of spare GT3 wheels with this colour, as well as putting a carrera logo on the side of my black 996

i have seen this combo on a 964, featured in a 911 porsche & world mag years ago, and i was impressed, but cannot remember where it was

any help would be appreciated

thanks a lot

open up a program like photoshop and use the colour sample tool

you can get the RGB/saturation values.

i would do it for you, but the colour in the photograph varies over ever millimeter.

Moogle,

i know how to do that, but this is excactly what i want to avoid....

i could match the colours by looking 2 samples next to each other.

the question is how to determine the excact colour......(if possible) of course
