Nice shot! I like those! I've never taken one of mine like that...I was about to, but this little guy popped in, he was more interesting to me... (yellow attracts bugs! I get bees trying to pollenate my car all the time!)

hey Jumper, it's called personalizing the car. It's not a fake silver badge, in fact the badges are manufactured and distributed with the permission of Porsche Cars North America and Porsche A.G. by Ralph Boothe. They in fact have a porsche part number on them.
Silver just looks better on some colors (and to some people). The gold on the wrong color car reminds me (and I suppose others) of those people that select the "gold" package when ordering their new car so that they get their new Benz, etc. with gold badges, numbering, and drum roll please........HOOD CREST!
Once again it comes to down to personal preference and have a unique car...not fake. Now rebadging your C2 a GT3, now THAT is fake my friend.

LVDell - you could be entirly right and I stand corrected. I had thought the the Porsche family crest was designed with gold.
leedav - to each there own, but I can pick up a 1992 Turbo for 55 can$ and drive it for 4 years and turn around and sell it for almost the same as what I paid.

Is it because it is different from the stock gold crest that makes it a "gotta do it!" MOD? If that is the case, I'll wait until the majority of the P-cars owners have switched from gold to silver, then the "new" MOD will be "go for the Gold!" and I'll already be there!
Seriously, can someone please explain the allure of the silver to me? Thanks!
