Does anyone know if a 997 engine decklid will fit on a 996?

If not, is there an after market look alike 997 decklid for the 996?

I am a big fan of the more aggressive looking decklid and would love the look on my 4s.

i think the panel may be too wide. afterall, didn't they increas the track of the 997?

Very old thread, but surprising that in all these years, nobody seems to have developed a 4-gill 997-style wing to fit a 996 decklid. It might even look okay with the new Dectane-style rear lights that are becoming so popular.

Personally, I really dislike the look of the 997 engine cover. If I had a 997 I'd probably try to retrofit one from a 996.
