flashing side marker mod/will they still function as side markers?

flashing side marker mod/will they still function as side markers?
For those who did the flashing side marker mod, do they still function as side markers when you turn on the lights (or park lights)??

Mine uses a green LED for side marker and then switches to an amber LED for turn signals.

Are green side markers legal? I thought only yellow was legal? btw, i'm using white...haha
