thats a pretty damned nice car man!
do you think the front bumper produces enough downforce to balance out with the rear wing @ high speed?

if it doesn't you can easily fab up a carbon fibre splitter and attach it to the bottom of the bumper.

I note in your future mods section that you're building a single turbo setup. May I ask why? IMHO being that you want to minimize piping length for better response, a dual turbo setup works much better on a flat-6 than a single turbo. Just curious...

Thanks for the comments. I will do more pro shots next week. Check out the new Modified L&E to see a 5 page Tech article on coilovers with our car. PLUG

As far as the downforce, not important unless you drive over 130mph...if you do on the roads, we need to talk . However with the carbon splitter, we are making one to fit that bumper. It is an underpiece and sticks out about 3 inches with mounts to hold it up or adjust it down. We have them for other cars like the EVO, STI, and RX8. Really eash to make, more looks if anything.

If you want one of those wings let me know...I got them here!!!

I hated white cars...but my last one and this one are turning out amazing.

Single turbo kit...well lets see, plenty of reasons to do it and not to do it. I could do a twin with GT2845 turbos...but with the amount of displacement, not worried about lag. When we finish R&D we will publicize results...

vivid: 130MPH on the street is a lil dangerous...but i like to goto lapping days a lot and so see pretty high speed in excess of those. if you can make me a splitter that goes with the RUF bumper and that doesn't cost as much as a bumper itself, i'll buy 2! (one for the track which will get mangled. and one standard one lol).

off the top of ur head, how much will a turbo'd car cost you vs a supercharged? is there any advantage to a turbo besides the fact that it doesn't rob power by using belts and stuff?

Yeah I hit that on the track for speeds too...but I am not racing this car anymore, building a full race car. As far as a splitter, we get sheets of carbon and custom cut them, I can make them for you no prob. Each splitter is about $350 and since I have the bumper, it will be a perfect fit. If you want certain design aspects, just let me know. I can get the bumper for you too....
Here is a pic of one we did on a EVO VIII -

As far as the turbo kit. It is very cheap to make, no BS $10,000 price tag. Add a reflashed ECU, fuel components, and the kit. Probably looking at like $5000-$6000. All ball bearing, K&N filters, Tial Wastegate, Samco silicon, stainless steel piping, and steel braided oil lines...
Here is a kit we made for the EVO so you can see our work we do -

hey man, if u can get me a replica ruf bumper so that i don't have to pay like 3 grand for an original we've got a deal.

basically i wanna use the RUF style bumper, get the aero splitter if necesary (i don't think it will be since i'll be using the Aerokit II wing which is almost the same as the ruf RGT RS anyhow) and then put the radiator vent slot (from the GT2 type of thing) in the font bumper. is that last bit even possible?
