Alignment question

Alignment question
I have a 2001 996 C2 coupe with the M030 option (US). I just replaced the front tires and the right front had more wear on the inner shoulder of the tire. I discussed this with the owner of the tire shop and he seemed to think that the problem is probably an incorrect camber setting.
My questions are these.
Is the camber adjustable? If so, are any special tools required to make the adjustment?

Upon careful reconsideration of my previous (wholly messed-up) post while half asleep, please do what JimB says.
Technically, adjusting camber is a simple procedure for the front, but unless you are intimately familiar with car suspensions, go to a good Porsche shop because there are serious other interactions with making the adjustments.
Most (including Porsche) alignment specs are so wide that as long as your wheels are pointing forward, they will be in spec. If you go to a run-of-the-mill alignment place, as long as it's within spec, they won't touch it. You need to go to a place that knows Porsches and specifically will listen to how you drive and what your needs are, and then align your car to those needs.
Also, to reduce negative camber, the top needs to go out. Sorry, I need more sleep and less surfing Rennlist. Thanks JimB and Hammer502 for "proof-reading".

arenared,
Please tell me you're kidding. You are suggesting a DIY camber adjustment using a level to someone with no experience?
iii911,
Find a good Porsche shop and have them check your alignment. It will be worth the money.

DIY WITHOUT AN ALIGNMENT MACHINE IS JUST SILLY FOR A STREET CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!ON THAT NOTE,SLIDING THE STRUT TOWARDS THE INSIDE OF THE CAR WILL INCREASE NEGATIVE CAMBER,WHICH WILL MAKE THE TIRE WEAR WORSE.ALSO THE TOE COULD BE A FACTOR,DEPENDING ON THE WEAR PATTERN.I WOULD AGREE WITH JIMB,TAKE IT TO A REPUTABLE SHOP THAT DEALS WITH PORSCHE CARS AND GET A GOOD ALIGNMENT DONE.

Guys,
Thanks for the responses.
Rest assured that I have no intention of trying to adjust the alignment myself. I just wanted to know if I had options other than using my local dealer for the alignment, hence the special tools question.
